Teamsailing is a consultancy and development process which frees up the potential of an organisation's main players through intensive training.Underpinning this process is our conviction that staff entrusted with a specific task are the best people,in principle,to solve the problems they've been given.
Organisational systems of cooperation used as solutions often demonstrate the real problem why opposition and resistance unnecessarily prolong and hinder the completion of a task.

During an intensive preliminary phase Teamsailing's trainers will develope with you a picture of how you see your developmental needs and the development process. Those people directly involved with the initiative will agree goals and contractually agree with the trainers all important details of the intended training and the development initiative.

Shortly afterwards a one or two-week period of intensive training will take place on a yacht on a windy stretch of water accompanied by Volkmar Pingel as captain and Dr. Timm Garde as trainer.

During this training phase emphasis will be laid on the development of cooperation and coordination skills. Sailing on a windy stretch of water is the ideal environment for this kind of training because participants must not only cooperate fully with one another in order to master the nautical demands but also learn to adapt to the implications of living together on board.

Depending on the target group,the implementation phase will immediately follow the intensive training. This phase takes place either within your organisation or within the framework of a supervised group and lasts 3 - 6 months,as agreed.
You can apply the experience and knowledge gained from the intensive training to the demands of your job in a positive and practical way. Led by Dr. Timm Garde and supervised by Brigitte Noack you learn how to do this in supervised seminars which initially take place weekly but later at longer intervals. This post-training phase makes sure that your newly acquired energies and models of cooperation will be integrated positively into your everyday working life and
that the agreed goals are reached.

The exact cost depends on your consultancy and training needs and are agreed contractually and are agreed contractually. Teamsailing offers a building-block system of varying individual skills which will meet your requirements as a package. However,for reasons of quality assurance it is only possible to book all 3 phases of the total development package even though its scope and structure can be adapted to your requirements.
